Simply timeless

The vintage sewing machine from Apple Fall is just timeless.  I have so many fond memories of my mother sewing, a gift she inherently received from my grandmother who at 87 still sews today.  She gave all her three generation of granddaughters aprons this year.  A treasured gift, that I use when there is an occasion for me to cook or bake.

One of my closest of friends, always laments that our generation somehow failed in learning to cook, clean house and all these other wonderful things that my mom’s generation was so well adapted in doing.  I’ll have him know that one of the first things that I ever sewed, was a blue and white teddy bear just like these pictured that I made during my sophomore year of high school.

Thank you Apple for bringing back these happy memories.

Enjoy ♥
