Not your everyday meal… though always great.

Hello

Hope the Christmas holidays treated you all well.  Mine were spent with family and as always with any family gathering, food is always a given.  So it makes me really happy that Dust Bunny made this gorgeous set called Sunday Dinner, that includes honey baked ham, mashed potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts and fresh rolls.  Anyone hungry yet?  It’s a feast for the eyes for sure.  It’s available now at Kustom9, so make it part of your own gatherings.

I also want to share with all of you here first that I am retiring from blogging at the end of this month.  It’s been a wonderful journey for me, a long one — since late 2013, which has been my relaxation since I’ve been in Second Life.  It’s allowed me to play with colors, and decorate to my heart’s content with various styles and designs.  I have been able to expand my skills in using various programs to photo edit, something that I might have never evolved into without SL.  I’ve been extremely lucky to have been on the team of many wonderful and fantastic creators and events from all across the grid, including their blogger managers.  I can’t deny it’s filled my inventory to the max with all sorts of home and garden items.  Many of which I never see the light of day after I blog it, so it may be time for exploring even my inventory.

I am not leaving Second Life, just not going to blog with any obligation, even though I will on occasion do pictures.  Photography in both worlds has always been a hobby, and that won’t change.  After a week or so of having nothing to do, I will tackle my inventory eventually then hop around the grid a bit.

With every bit of gratitude and thankfulness, I want to thank all of you here for your support throughout the years, for every fav, awards or comment you placed on my blog, and other social media as well.  I really am grateful to each and every follower, a bit of bragging here I know, the 700+ on the blog, 10k+ on Flickr, 4,6k+ Facebook and 900+ on Instagram.  I’m humbled when I really think about it.

I would be amiss to not include my fellow bloggers and friends that have been part of my inspiration and cheerleaders throughout every step — forever grateful to all of you.

I have one or two pictures left before I call it a day or the end for now.

Best wishes to everyone in your continued blogging journey, SL or otherwise, and I hope 2023 is your best year yet.

  1. Aww, while I understand your choice, I admit a selfish little twinge of sad because your blog has been my #1 go-to for Home and Garden for years; especially when I was looking for an item in particular. 🙂 It’s been awesome, Thank you. Wishing you the best going forward!

    1. Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I am so happy that I provided that for you. I will do some pictures in the future. Though my focus right now is a break, some inventory cleaning. 🙂
