Down these old country roads…

It’s no secret that my favorite season is Fall. I love the colors of the season, the reds, orange, yellows and brown.  I also love the mountains as much as I do the sea.  I’m so not ready to get into the winter, though this will probably be my last fall photo.

I am showcasing more of the awesome landscaping products by Studio Skye.  The rustic road building set with the 4-seasons bolt-on addition to change to whatever season you want.

I am using one of the ground textures for the fall season by Skye, that really made such a difference to the landscape. Other products shown are from the epic rock and cliff building sets as well as the wild grasses.  I did tint the grasses to give a more orange color.

Resizing the rocks can be tricky.  Sometimes it can distort the textures so you have to play with it to get right.

There is no place like home.

I can’t remember the last time I have showcased a home, so here we go with the latest release by Trompe Loeil.  The Padget Modern Farmhouse is a great size for any family and for those who love to decorate.   It’s got front and back stone tile patios, an open-plan room, where you will find a stone brick and wood panel trim fireplace.  It’s got an optional kitchen unit, which I really like as you can swap it out at any time you want a kitchen makeover.

Good morning, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I had a slightly busy one, though took my Sunday to do several pictures for this week.  Today I am showing one of the newest releases from Nutmeg.  Beautiful living room set of sofa and armchair along with a few other decor pieces and some bonus items.  As always elegance and wonderful details in the items.  The perfect palette for the fall season. I hope you grabbed the newest release from Peaches at this past Fifty Linden Friday, the donuts and pumpkins on the table are just too cute.  There is another piece to this set, that is not shown.  The golden retriever, I’ve already shown with my last post, though he just can’t help himself with trying to find something under that carpet.

Happy Friday!  Today I’m showcasing items from Nutmeg’s newest release including some older items and a few other things from other creators.  The wardrobe and most items on it are part of the new release, along with the basket in front and ones on the side and the rugs.  I saw a little mistake that I made with the baskets on the side, where they overlap. The book club

I have always enjoyed reading, often spending hours on end lost in a book. Many nights into the early hours just to finish a book I couldn’t put down.  I’m currently half way reading one now, though I confess that I don’t make enough time to read more than one book a month.  I’ve also had the thought on occasion to join a book club, thinking it could be fun to discuss our understanding and thoughts of a book.  Anyone belong to a book club and has pros and cons?

Today I bring you a previous release now at the main store from Ariskea.  The table, chairs, hanging books and everything else on the table except the parrot on the chair is from the set.  It’s whimsical and quite lovely, and a great set for a dining set as well.  The parrot also a previous release and at the [Rezz Room] main store.  It’s a beauty of parrot that can be worn, so you’ll never feel lonely again.  Or it can be rezzed to idle, wander or follow.  Comes with three choices of colors, 20 static animations and a talking system.
