Keeping the home warm and cozy

Today I am featuring items at Anthem Event.  Avani released a collection that includes the fireplace, wall art, iron grate with logs, pots and some of the small decor on the table.  It’s a wonderful set with options to change the color of just about all the items, all natural earthy warm.  Two things to mention.  The logs in the pot are the same ones inside the fireplace, except I removed/hid pieces to insert the wood. The other is the decor above the fireplace is not part of the set, it’s my own creation tearing apart a few decor items to get the desired effect and using the stick candles.

DaD released some cute rabbit book ends that come in a few colors.  I’m showing the oxidized version, and showing one of the rabbits with the book base and the other without the base that is leaning up against the books on the table.  Adorable pieces to use in any room of your homes or office.

Enjoy the last bit of summer

Hello! I’m doing a second post today and I am somewhat stoked that I managed to get something out before the actual event begins. haha.  Apple Fall is releasing this beautiful dining set this weekend for Saturday Sale.  You really don’t want to miss this opportunity, it’s just lovely.   I’m also showcasing the gazebo and lattice as well as the bridge in the background from FINCA — also very beautiful workmanship.  The bridge can be found at the Main Store, as it was a past weekend sale item and the gazebo, with floor, palm fan and lattice are to be found at the current round of Cosmo.

They fit so perfectly together and as I set it up, the scene just came altogether.

Lost sheep

Sometimes I am perplexed on how to use backdrops, even though I’ve seen many mixed in with other items in decorated sims.  Using them as a backdrop for fashion photography makes sense and for decor, its not my ideal space.

Today’s picture is featuring the new release by Minimal at Collabor88.  It’s a beautiful piece, which can be used in many ways, you just need to awaken your imagination a bit.  I’ve put the link to the Flickr picture, as my editing shadowed the build.
