The more one sows, the greater the harvest…

I was really surprised at first when backdrops came on the scene, it left me feeling as something was not complete.  Though I’ve seen the use of them in photography and sim decoration.  From time to time I am asked if I have ever thought of saving my scenes for people to use as a backdrop.  Nope, my scenes come down almost immediately, though I can understand not everyone will have either the want, skill or means to create a scene.   This corn field backdrop by Amitie is quite wonderful for my picture today and can visualize it being a great additional to any landscape besides a home or as mentioned above a sim decoration.

I did my best to come off as a country girl out in the corn fields picking corn and grabbing some pumpkins to fill my basket, which is a wearable by Ariskea.  There is also a decor version too, so quite perfect for this fall season.   Tetra released this cute top and jacket not too long ago, which I paired with some ripped shorts also by the creator.  The quality of this brand shows, not only in the design itself and all the details seen, the folds, lace, ripped material, overall style and color palette.  It’s made to fit Maitreya + Petite, Legacy + Perky, Ebody Reborn and Kupra.

Kilim style

Doing a second post today as it includes a couple of items from FaMESHed, which is slated to close in the next day or so.  I am using the trail lodge again that I showcased with my Autumn colors post.  Then I’m also showcasing the coffee machine and cups from .little fox. that can also be found at the event.  Plus the loveseat and armchair by Bricolage, which was a release for the weekend sales.  Several choices of fabrics for each and all of them quite lovely.  I am also showcasing the pumpkin centerpiece by DaD-virtual living-, which is a retextured item.  Don’t miss grabbing the new fall wreaths at the store.

Autumn colors

Now with Fall officially here, I can’t wait what goodies we get to decorate with. For today’s photo I’m using new and old mixed together, and I am loving the golds.  Something else that I am loving is the design and craftmanship of the decor by [North Oak].  The items I’m showing are fairly new previous releases, so all can be found at the main store.

New from Kraftwork is the trail lodge that I used to decorate, which is a beautiful two story build with lots of glass windows and pool area in front.  If I can muster the energy to landscape I will try and feature the outside, otherwise you will see it once or twice more with decor pictures.  You can find it now at FaMESHed.  I’m also featuring pumpkin by FINCA, the one on the coffee table here in front, which has a candle inside of it.  These pumpkins are so pretty, so make sure to visit the mainstore to see this one and others.

Apple cider

It’s the season for baking, are you ready?  Apple pie anyone?  I’m more of a candy apple type, the juicy red candy coated or the caramel chocolate wrapped kind.  If you like apples, then you’re in for a treat with the newest release by ..::THOR::.., the Apple Orchard. It’s got several pieces that inspired me to do this scene of being out on a farm, with a small area to taste hot apple cider.   Items are being sold separately, though if you grab the fatpack you do get some extra items like the wellies, barrel and wearable apple (not shown).   Also, if you don’t already know, ..::THOR::.. is also participating on occasion in the happy weekend sales, and this past week he had the Autumn bristo chair and table with some yummy decor, that I am not using, though trust me they are pretty.

On another note – as I am slowly, very slowly cleaning my inventory (once again and a forever thing), I am ridding myself of some old and new gacha items.  It’s a slow process, but I am placing them for resale at the gacha shop in the Bricolage sim, along with items from the owner of the shop.  You will land at the main store, so you have to take the teleporter to the gacha shop.
