I traveled over the weekend towards the southern part of Florida, and my goodness, I had forgotten how much worse the hotness and humidity can be there.  The moment you step out of a cool air conditioned vehicle or building, that oppressive heat just overwhelms you.  You don’t really see umbrellas being used as protection from the sun, at least not the locals.  I may have to give it a go one day.

For my picture, an umbrella seemed like the perfect accessory to my outfit.  I’m still trying to get more comfortable doing a mixture of fashion and decor.  The stairs backdrop from Minimal, available now at Equal10, gave me that opportunity.  The hair, jewelry and dress are all from this round of FaMESHed.  Sunglasses from Bondi, are at the current round of Cosmopolitan.

TGIF!! Well I’m half an hour before it’s officially Friday, though in my mind its here.  I’ve got the perfect weekend for you, drinks and lots of books to keep you entertained.  There’s a subject for everyone’s taste, so check out the new book collection by Apple Fall, which is a new release at the main store.  BONDI has a vintage TV bar at Cosmopolitan, that you can keep stocked with your favorite bottles.

Tuning in, zoning out

Last night turned out to be one of those nights.  When you completely zone out and just tune into what you have to get done. The added benefit is that I got to bed before 10:30 pm, which is a rarity for me.

Good morning!

The title is part of the lyrics from one of my favorite all time songs “Don’t Stop Believin” from Journey. Such a great song and whenever I hear the song playing, it just brings up warm memories for me.

The train box with all the decor inside of dining booths, hot dog signs and food is a new release by DRD.   The converted tram is at Eclipse that ends today edited – ends May 30th.  Flickr through my schedule off by several days so my apologies for bringing it to you this late.  You should be able to find it at the main store if you miss getting to the event.

Sunglasses and hat are by Bondi and available at Man Cave.  Lots of color choices for both.

Reflection

I’m slowly making my way into spring colors.  I’ve seen some previews of decor to come in the next days and it’s a burst of colors for this season.

Today I’m showcasing a mixture of fashion and decor.  I’m wearing some new sunglasses by BONDI, which are beautifully detailed.  I’ll post where you can find these very shortly.  Then Minimal has released a letter necklace out now at Kustom9.  Wear the letter of your favorite person.

I’m also showcasing some outdoor items.  Convair has recently redone their main store location and plans for some new releases in the near future.  The Paris gazebo is just one of his creations, so go visit to see more.   Orange blossom tree is by Little Branch and available at the main store.
