The prickly sort

I was inspired by a recent new set by Bricolage, the Georgia set, to put together this scene.  You can find the set at the main store, the sofas are in four colors, though this burnt red tone called out to me so it was the one that I elected to use.   To continue with the theme of the sofa, I looked for all the cactus plants in my inventory that I could find.  Lots of prickly sorts came from the search.  It’s a simple scene.  Yet, I’m pretty satisfied with my outcome.

Feeling right at home

After a few weeks break I am back and ready to get into the swing of things again.  For the most part I kept up with the latest stuff as I tried to do some social media while I was not blogging.  I tried to make up for the other times when I am not able to fav pictures as much across the other platforms that I use — Flickr, Facebook and Instagram.  It becomes overwhelming at times, at least for me.

Yellow, the color of sunshine.

Good morning.  Today I bring you a load of sunshine with this new bedroom set by Dust Bunny & Consignment.  Their collaborations are always so amazing.  It has several color themes and I went with yellow to give a splash of brightness.

I’m also featuring a new floral arrangement set by Ariskea. The round jar with tulips, which is also available in many other colors is at this new round of Collabor88.  Peaches had some cute valentine clutter decor at this past weekend Fifty Linden and Saturday Sale, so if you missed out they are available at the main store.

Then also being showed is a new release by {moss&mink}, the photo divider with hearts and two decorative shelves.  These can be found now at Cupid Inc.

Morning! Here is the first home I’ll be featuring out of three homes to show you.  This is one by DaD-virtual living.  Here is a great description and house details are below.

“Stonewater is a beautiful three room floor plan with a long hallway for easy access among two of the rooms. Tall windows to let you soak in the wonderful views from every area of the home. Spacious rooms for comfortable living. Natural materials throughout the home.

The Farmers Market

I grew up in a small rural community where there was a large farmers market.  Growing up we went there a few times and as I got older and passed through there on a number of occasions I can recall the countless stalls of vegetables and fruits that would adorn each vendor space. It’s something that I still enjoy today, is visiting the outdoor markets, whether its fruits, vegetables, or flowers. I just love that ambiance.

I am showcasing items from Dust Bunny in collaboration with Consignment. The first is the farmers market set available at FaMESHed.  Seriously, a fantastic set and every piece can be used on its own.  The bicycles are at Kustom9 and again a collaboration between the two creators.  JIAN came out with some adorable ducks that come in several versions as they are known for doing.  You get static, wandering or companions.  The sunflowers is another new release by JIAN and come with texture change options.  You can find both these new sets at Belle Event.  The last item I’m showcasing is a new seasonal tree by Little Branch.  The Red Bud tree can be found at newest round of Boardwalk.

The rest of the decor is listed below, though most of it is from Dust Bunny.  I really love being able to use some of the older items.  I’m shooting to do more of that.
