Showing lots of newness today, starting with the winter library shelf by Thor.  Comes in three colors of dark, ecru and wood and the back panel has nine choices to select from.  As a bonus you get the shelf in the back with the same colors.  I made mine a little smaller to be proportioned to the picture above.  The photo ledge is by Tuesdays and it’s at the current round of FaMESHed.  I used the VIP version, though the pack available allows you to use your own photos and come in two frame for a single pack or four frames for the fatpack.  The cowbells near the fireplace and vintage lantern on the back shelf I have shown previously, but at FaMESHed as well.

The fireplace is from Kopfkino and its currently at Access Event that opens today.  It’s a one piece, but it’s very customizable by HUD, which allows you to change the texture of just about everything.  I kept the original as I liked it well enough, but check it out because it really has a lot of options.  Spruce had runners at Happy Weekend sales about a week ago, so always great for the floor space and keeping our virtual feet warm.  That cute chimpanzee is from Rezz Room and at UBER.  He’s in spirit of Christmas, and as always you get static animations.  How can you resist all that adorable cuteness?  Lastly, I am also showing two pieces of art in this current round of Curated Event.  The mountain scene just above the library shelf and then smaller art framed inside the shelf.

Getting the home ready for the holidays

I’m taking advantage of the moment that I am feeling slightly better to post showcasing items from Apple Fall and Mysa.  The fleece stockings were a new release this past weekend by Apple Fall and make for some cute decor for your Christmas decorating.  I lived in the southern part of Florida for most of my life, which meant we rarely had much of a winter.  Give or take a few cold fronts, but nothing where a fireplace was needed and it’s not the norm in a home in that part of the state.  I am now in the part of the country where fireplaces are a given, and so loving the experience of having a fireplace.  The wood ornaments on the tree are also a past recent release from Apple Fall.  The art is so pretty, and in my picture I made some big and some smaller, so they can be resized to fit your needs.  Lots of other items from Apple shown as well.

I’m also showing the hanging cowbells on the side of the fireplace, which are from Mysa at the current round of FaMESHed.  I’m really loving these types of bells, so you will see them in several of my posts during the Christmas countdown.

We have visitors again…

I cannot make myself transition into winter just yet, though it’s coming.  Today it’s all about fall vibes and gardens, green houses or just beautiful buildings and some cute squirrels.  These adorable little things up close is a release by Rezz Room.  Wearable and rezzable versions, animated or static animations as those shown.  They wander, follow or idle, 3 fur colors and have sound to give you the most authentic experience.  We live for those.  Don’t you?

KraftWork has brought us a garden conservatory, the smaller build. I absolutely love the look and all the windows from top to bottom.  I visualize it near water, some cozy chairs inside and I’m in pure heaven.  It really can be used for multiple purposes.  It’s available in other colors with options for the concrete and wood.  The build does not include the side piece, which is a separate item that was recently also released by KraftWork.  The pergola add-on was made to go with any building structure of your choice to give you added room or decor space.  It’s also available in a few colors, and modifiable so you can make it work for you.  Visit here and here to see the two builds.

The other build is from TBF, also known The Black Forest, and it’s a multi-purpose type of building that can be used for many things like an event, green house, or mainstore.   This is just one layout provided as an example, though with many pieces you can create the space as small or as large as you need.

I’m reminded of all things to be grateful for…

I was struggling with putting together a scene yesterday.  Not sure if it was my overall mood of tiredness and not filling at ease, or if it was lack of inspiration.  All in all I was happy with the result by the time that I finished putting together a simple scene featuring several items.  In the end it was a matter of feeling good about it, and being able to give visibility to items and meeting requirements.

I’m wearing a new hair release by Wasabi, which is just lovely with the long braid that curves around the front as shown. It does that on both left and right sides, and not shown are the two versions of unrigged bangs.  Variety of colors for hair and bands.   The necklace and earrings are from Kunst, excellent detail and quality with several color options for all pieces.  The skirt and top are from Neve, which I love the puffiness of the sleeves.  The top has a heart design in the middle as an option for wearing, which is not shown.  Plenty of color options for both pieces, as plain or patterned.

The drink is a cappuccino by ChicChica, that has bento hold for either hand and the cup can be resized as needed. The cute little rabbit is a new release by Rezz Room, adorable tiny thing.  As with most of their animals, it has static versions, different colors for the fur and come as wearable or companion.

Lastly, the decor I am showing is the two art prints at the top for the Curated Event.  The blue is The Crack from NodosArt and the brown reddish is Gather by Defiled Arts.  Two beautiful art pieces that can be displayed in your homes, offices, bedrooms, etc.

Kitchen chemistry

One of my favorite rooms to decorate has always been the kitchen.  There is plenty of decor now to create almost every dream kitchen we can imagine.  The kitchen unit that I am using is from North Oak.  It’s a white oak modular set so that you can make it fit whatever size room or space you have.  I used the light version, but a dark pack is available and each has 5 wood colors.  There are also different handle styles to choose from, the fridge opens and has animations, the island has a small or large version. Lots of pieces to really make it work for you.

Hive makes the cutest drinks and these were a previous release, but hey we can never tire of an ice coffee.  In fact, it’s my preferred way of drinking coffee most often — French vanilla.  The option to have the donut attached or not.  These are the decor version, though hold version is available.

Lastly, I am also featuring items to be found at the just opened round of FaMESHed.  Broken Arrows brings us another lovely station of cups.  Few color options with items like the bird, leaves and beads.  Great for compact kitchens.  Tuesdays has a new set of frames and a shelf, which really can be used just about anywhere in the home.  I think they fit perfect with my color scheme.  The kitchen saying is not part of the frame.
