Fancy AF

Hello everyone!  Hope life is treating everyone well.  As I said in one of my last posts I would return occasionally to do a photo and so here I am today, doing just that.  Hope you all like it.

After years blogging for both of these brands, I never expected to see them come together like this.  Exciting to see the collaboration between Apple Fall and Fancy Decor.  It’s like a perfect match and the name Fancy Fall is catchy.  Admit it. You like it.  It’s Fancy af, just like the neon sign says.  Most of what I am showing is from their joint work.

I’m still stuck on the color of green, so I tinted the walls of this skybox, which is all white with green in the front room and a blue in the back room.   There are several recently released sets in this picture and so you will find my credits broken down by the named sets and whatever I used from those sets.  Not all items were used, so don’t take it as such.

It was really nice to do a picture and post on my blog.  Not sure how often I will make a picture. I have not given it any thought beyond decorating this room, which was fun. I just may decorate something else soon.  I’ve been giving some thought to redoing my land, which up until yesterday was still in snow and decorated in Christmas things.  It’s timeless.  I like the idea of Christmas year round.   It’s peaceful and I am enjoying my solitude and when the mood strikes I work on my inventory. It’s like shopping at a vintage store.

I’m showing a past release by [North Oak], which is the wood chair and canvas art. Gone country

This scene takes me back to my first few years in Second Life.  One of my first homes on the grid was a ranch with chickens roaming everywhere.  I got a box somewhere in my inventory with a lot of country decor that I probably should go through one day.  Probably a picture or two of my very noobish skills in terraforming and landscaping.  These days I spend more time on my vacant land that I use for blogging, then at my actual SL home.  Yes, I have one.  It’s got lots of old stuff, since it’s rare that I upgrade items.  I much prefer to show you just one way to use all the great new stuff we have available to make our homes beautiful.

Which brings me today’s post.  I am showing items mostly from Anthem.  If you’ve been, you already know the theme is the wild west.  I’m using the loft from Atelier Burgundy, which is at FaMESHed, for my scene today and items from the Josephina set by Bricolage.

Take 3

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything with my blog posts.  Most mornings its the last 15 minutes before I dash out the door when I get a chance to post, preferring to blog early and use anytime I get in the evening when I log to work on doing a scene for the next blog post.  Working once more out of the house brought its changes, busier for one and then factor in the drive to and from work and less energy at the end of the day.  I’m not complaining.  It’s been a good change for me.

Now for what I am showing today.  It’s a mixture of new items and previously released items from brands I blog for with some weekend finds and other older items.  I am using the newest release from Onsu, the Hollywood House.  It’s a modern home with glass all around with plenty of bedrooms and has a pool.  I’ll be showing more in another post, though you can take a look at the creator’s Flickr or visit the mainstore.  I’m showing several items from Kraftwork that were previously released.  Bookshelf, books, coffee table, rug, tv, speaker and console are all items you can find at the mainstore, as always the details are below.  Kraftwork always has new items, so visit their store to see the latest.

New from Rezz Room is the cat, available as a companion or shoulder pet with different furs to choose from.  I’m also showcasing [Cinoe], which has returned to creating.  Cute wine and snacks rack for decor and also dispenses.

It’s cupid’s fault…

I didn’t plan on blogging today, though I felt in the mood to get some pictures done today.   For this picture I am using the new set by KOPFKINO, available now at Cupid’s Fault by Access.  Lovely bathroom set that has all the essentials to make your room soft and peaceful.   I am also using Nutmeg’s Retro Glam set of chair, telephone and rug which are at the mainstore.  I want to take a long bath right about now.  a

The curtains are a new release  by DaD and at the current round of UBER.  The set comes with several colors for the fabric, and metal pieces and three styles to choose from.  Lastly, the other items that I am featuring are the gold plant by Ariskea, that comes in various colors.  The cute cupid above me is a past release by [Rezz Room], but just in time for Valentine’s.  Grab all the details below.
