It is a quick one today. I’m showcasing a new release by HISA out today at the Wizarding Faire. It’s a charming home, with a land impact of 444. You get lots of rooms, and vaulted ceilings, rustic walls, stained glass windows and exposed wooden beams. It’s worth checking out. I’m using the rustic walls from Fanatik, which were great for the look that I wanted to create. I’m also using the steps from the land shapes set. You have lots of options on how to utilize the items, so really great buy. The wild grasses and field of flowers are from Finca.

I have always enjoyed reading, often spending hours on end lost in a book. Many nights into the early hours just to finish a book I couldn’t put down. I’m currently half way reading one now, though I confess that I don’t make enough time to read more than one book a month. I’ve also had the thought on occasion to join a book club, thinking it could be fun to discuss our understanding and thoughts of a book. Anyone belong to a book club and has pros and cons?
Today I bring you a previous release now at the main store from Ariskea. The table, chairs, hanging books and everything else on the table except the parrot on the chair is from the set. It’s whimsical and quite lovely, and a great set for a dining set as well. The parrot also a previous release and at the [Rezz Room] main store. It’s a beauty of parrot that can be worn, so you’ll never feel lonely again. Or it can be rezzed to idle, wander or follow. Comes with three choices of colors, 20 static animations and a talking system.

One of the things that I miss about having a homestead from my early days on Second Life is the ability to change the terrain environment. I really enjoy the parcel that I’m on now, it’s peaceful and has been absolutely perfect for my needs. The only drawback is not being able to change the terrain. Luckily, one of the ways to go around this is by using land shapes. Not only has it been perfect to hide some of the terrain, it’s also great to build an ideal landscape with different shapes such as rocks, ramps, hills or slopes.
Today I’m featuring the rock walls from Fanatik’s land shapes package. The set has everything you could ever want to transform your land into something unique and beautiful. It has beach rocks, boulders, erosion, islands, ramps, slopes, stairs, terraces and the rock walls. They all have texture change options, which is really a wonderful option for those who like to change their land with the seasons. You can find this land shapes set at the main store. You truly will not be disappointed.
My picture evolved from also wanting to showcase the trees and teepee from FINCA. The theme of summer camping was easy to imagine as it’s the name (Summer Camp), of the event where these items can be found. Teepee has color options by Hud. This would be my vision for a wonderful camping trip.
We made it to the last day of the year. I am sure all of us are glad to shut the door on 2020. Best wishes for everyone in this new year. Stay safe!
This will also be my last post as I am taking the month of January off from blogging to rest, refocus, resetting goals and also rediscover my inventory. It’s a nice way of saying… time to clean it. Until then, happy blogging everyone.
One of the loveliest items at the arcade round is the Olwen house by Contrast. It’s small and cozy and it has a snow-add on for the winter months. I’ll be showcasing the furniture in another post. I was in the mood for a landscape scene as I really like these Douglas fir trees that Little Branch has out at The Liaison Collaborative.
