Wild mountain hideout

Good morning.  Reality always hits when you have to get up for work and you really need at least another hour of sleep.  Today I’m featuring a new release by Trompe Loeil, which I placed a description just below credits.  Not shown in this picture, is a built-in kitchen, with animations for those looking for a role-play experience.  I’m also featuring new rocks by Pandemonium.  They are a cluster of rocks that have 5 different base  textures.  For my picture I supersized some of the rocks, which does affect land impact.

The Daley Modern Farmhouse features a welcoming wraparound concrete patio, elevated with three stairways for access. Enter the living room through several sets of glass double doors and take in the focal point: an oversized combination fireplace and waterfall fountain, set against a slab of natural stone! On the reverse side, firewood inset into the chimney structure makes for an eye-catching display. Take a stroll into the built-in kitchen with working sink and sink animations, and check out the three private rooms (one in the kitchen area and two upstairs). Grab the matching Snow Add-On and get cozy through the rest of the winter! Footprint is approximately 30 meters by 26 meters.

Good morning! Showcasing a new release by DRD available now at FaMESHed.  The Moonshine Shack is just perfect for a getaway. Good morning!  It’s not only the Fall season in Second Life, where you get all the pretty reds and golds of the season and the cuteness of pumpkins and other Fall decor. It’s also the Halloween season during the month of October.  It’s not something that I get into personally, though that aside I do my best in showcasing what is available.

JIAN brings us a graveyard set with embellished graves, wooden crosses and open caskets and much more.  You can’t see it in my picture, but one of those caskets is animated so that the top appears to move as if someone is trying to come out.  If Halloween is your thing, then this would definitely make for a great role play experience.

!Pandemonium also released some gravestones, which are the pointed ones just behind the skeleton with the umbrella.  There are two versions, plain and one with weeds and two tones available.  All the skeletons are by DaD-virtual living- and make for some nice entertainment guests at your Halloween party.

The other two decor pieces I’m featuring are items available at Salem, which is a yearly event that features dark, spooky and thrilling designs. Balaclava has a static women in white and Serenity Style has primitive Halloween dolls.

Unexpected winds

The title came from having an unexpected sneeze. I’m fighting a cold. Like it came out of nowhere. It sucks to be sick.  I don’t know about you all, but I get a little grumpy when sick.  I’m also contagious, as a friend said I gave him the cold through skype.  Moi?  Sneeze.

In between seasons.

Happy Monday and Labor Day!  I hope you got today off and enjoying.  My day seems to have gotten away with running errands.

Today I’m showcasing a new build by Trompe Loeil.  The Joralie cottage is so lovely and I was undecided to get right into doing a country scene or by the ocean scene.  I opted for a little of both. The footprint on this home is 31.1 meters by 27.2 meters with a land impact of 109.  Stonework and wood planking siding with a wraparound deck of serts. You just need to go view it — its got that warm and cozy feel to it.

I’m using new shrubs by Little Branch, which are season change.  If you’re still stuck in between moving from summer to fall, then do what I did and use a little of both.  I’m also showing the brown rock landscaping from Pandemonium.  I twisted a piece of rock to make an A.  I bet you think it stands for Alexa.  Alright.  You could be right.

One of the things that I really enjoy doing in second life is landscaping.  I can easily get lost in putting together a scene or just decorating my own land.  That said, I am always on the lookout for new and different and today I’m happy to showcase the brand !Pandemonium.  They are not new, though they recently released some new mesh products that are absolutely gorgeous.

I’ll be using more of their stuff in future posts, but today I’m featuring the shallow bridge in mossy brown and the mossy grey pile of rocks near it.  Go check out the store, you won’t be disappointed.
