Fresh Delivery

Good morning.  It’s a quick one this morning, but I bring you a “fresh delivery” of wonderful decor.  Nutmeg recently released this new set at her main store.  Baguettes, eggs, milk and butter sounds like all the right ingredients for some scrambled eggs on a buttered toasted bread.  Other pieces shown from the set are mentioned below in credits.

I’m also showcasing some recent newness from KraftWork. The fabric dining chairs are just the prettiest.  There are six fabric options, 3 wood options and the chair comes with eating/drinking animations and props, as well as regular sitting animations. The counter clutter made of the snack basket, paper towel holder and chalk board sign just completes my dining/kitchen area.

Taking a long weekend break, so will not post again until Monday.

Hello! This is another scene that I wasn’t sure where it was leading to when I set out to do.  I started with showcasing the amazing Harvest Collection from Hive, which is a mainstore release. Yay! I love that some designers are pulling back from participating in so many events and concentrating on going back to mainstore releases.

As I was setting up the hay bales, the thought came that it would really go well with some items from the Arcade.  There you have it, my complete scene.  The Arcade is still open a few more days, so great time to visit and grab some extra stuff.

Buenos días!  Good morning!

This spicy fiesta set by Dust Bunny is so close to home that I could probably talk at length about each piece.  The way we make and eat it, but I’m not going to bore you though!  I’ll just share that while familiar with each dish — the ones that are more of a staple with my family are the tortillas and tacos. Freshly made warm flour tortillas are the best and with morning food even better.  Highly recommend them filled with cooked egg (hard scrambled), or potato with egg or egg and chorizo.  You get the idea?  I like a warm tortilla just smeared with butter.  Not a morning person, then try chicken, beef or fish tacos with either flour or corn tortillas.  Personally, a piece of fajita fills me up good.

The grilled corn and the empanadas are typically eaten at special occasions or large family gatherings. The grilled corn smothered with mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder and then crumbled cotija cheese is something you ought to try once! It’s delicious!  The rest is more your snack or party type finger foods with the exception of just the guacamole, which we eat alongside other foods.
