It’s been busy days for me lately.  Hope everyone is staying well and healthy.  Today I’m featuring another recent release by Studio Skye and also Jian and Hive.

The woodland path building set is a delight to work with.  The details are amazing.

Below the credits you can find the description of the set by the creator. I love how the set works well with another set, the scots pines set.

The cute dog is from Jian.  I did hide the leaf pile that the dog tumbles around in.  This amazing wagon with pumpkins is the recent group gift by Hive, so make sure you join if you’re not a group member.

I am proud to present this Woodland Path Building set – a collection of exquisitely detailed modules all ready to go. Just rez and position together to form the perfect woodland path. A selection of straights, curves, rises and junctions gives you everything you need. Paths included roots, rocks and plants. Trees are not included in this set.

You can also drop in your own terrain texture on base.

3 x Mounds for blending with terrain
1 x Trail Joint (not always required)
1 x Matching terrain texture

Path Sections are approx 8×9 meters
LI is around 8 to 10 LI per section (including all rocks and plants)

One of the things that I really enjoy doing in second life is landscaping.  I can easily get lost in putting together a scene or just decorating my own land.  That said, I am always on the lookout for new and different and today I’m happy to showcase the brand !Pandemonium.  They are not new, though they recently released some new mesh products that are absolutely gorgeous.

I’ll be using more of their stuff in future posts, but today I’m featuring the shallow bridge in mossy brown and the mossy grey pile of rocks near it.  Go check out the store, you won’t be disappointed.

Home away from home

This is a quick post to show this wonderful new home by Onsu.  The Lakeville is a 2-story, 3 bedroom suburban home that simply said is just gorgeous.  It’s got a land impact of 120 and available in 4 colors. A built in fireplace and marble tiled bathroom are just two of the features.  You get also a full and half texture resolution versions, which is something I truly appreciate.  The latter is great to prevent lag and/or texture thrashing if you have a lower spec system.

All the landscaping is by Heart and was available at FaMESHed, though the event ends tomorrow. You can find the enchanted flowering path set at the store in the next few days hopefully and while you’re there you might as well check out the rest of her amazing landscaping stuff.

Morning! Hope its been a great weekend for all of you. Mine was pretty good. I stayed home for most of it since it rained for most of it and still continues today.

Happiness is along the coast

Yesterday, while in the middle of doing this scene Second Life decided to be a pain and kicked me off.  After several attempts of trying to log back on I finally gave up and decided an early night was calling.

Today’s post is to showcase another great home.  The Tatum Cabin is by Trompe Loeil and currently at Uber.   From the creator’s own words, “…is a two story, wood shingle and plank cabin with an open floor plan and private upstairs level. The flagstone base wraps around to embrace the stairwell tower, filled with light and windows, that leads to the landing and the private fireplace above. Front and back covered porch, interior and exterior lighting (including stairwell chandelier), privacy windows, locking doors, and our *home control system round out the features!
