In the middle of nowhere we found our way

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a fellow home and garden blogger whose work I follow and admire through Flickr.  Nat was fantastic to work with and narrated our whole scene as she took us on a long road trip out to the middle of nowhere.  Until our van {seen on her picture} overheated and we had to make a quick stop to get it repaired.

It was worth it, since we were hungry!

Good morning!

Today’s picture is a bit different than my norm.  The cage is by Granola (click name for vendor ad) and its got quite a lot of bells and whistles.  It’s adult and RLV enabled, it has latex and leather perch options and mixture of animations in either version.  It’s also available in 3 metals.

Part of my outfit are gacha items from Kaithleen’s and Mug’s at the Epiphany. If you visit the Epiphany website you can view the shopping guide, which has the vendor keys for both gachas and every other gacha at this event.

This picture gives the indication I’m talking to myself and so we’ll just say I’m practicing my Italian.

Collabor88 opened its doors three days ago and there are some amazing stuff starting with this gorgeous necklace in tarnished silver by DRD.  If you click on the photo, you can see it up close.  I’m also showcasing the shoes I’m wearing by Mutresse, which comes with a HUD giving you 20 color options for different parts of the shoe.

Then lastly I’m showcasing the old water pump and washboard with tub by Bondi, out now at The Liaison Collaborative.  I did mod it a little by taking apart the buckets, so be mindful of that.  The other items being shown are the colorful chairs by Madras, formerly known as Mesh India and the ladder is part of a set by Serenity Style at The Liaison Collaborative as well.

It feels good to be back to blogging, even though getting back into rhythm might take some time.  You know when you have so much to do and very little time.  Now I usually thrive on stuff like that, except it proves to be harder, at least for me, when you can’t focus as clearly as you would like.  I’m sure some of you have moments like this.  My favorite phrase nowadays is this too shall pass and I keep moving.

Just to give you a little glimpse into my life, which has been pretty chaotic lately with lots going on.  I was away a few days to attend a family reunion and celebrating my grandmother’s 85th birthday.  Always a fun time, just a bit tiring when all said and done.  It was also a bit gloomy this year for all of us as we lost three family members within the space of a year.  One was my brother, which was a year just a week before the reunion.  His presence was certainly lacking as he was good at making people laugh even in the most difficult of times and this was one of those occasions.  There are unexpected changes at my work place as well so that when you start to add all these things together you might begin to wonder how I handle it all.  The answer to that is I continue to count my blessings.  I had a 7-month post surgery check up this past week and I continue to have a clean bill of health of being cancer free.

I haven’t even begun to tell you about what’s going on in my Second Life world.  I’ve been working on something new that I’ll be announcing very soon.  Now all this combined makes for one very busy season ahead, so I hope you stay tuned.
